I'd go with Progress. The quality of the product is top notch, awesome customer service and they are always willing to help you out with any questions you might have. I use Progress coilovers on my drag car, and have been very pleased with them.

I'd dump 3 bills on skunk2 sport shocks since i like the ride my coil over sleeves give me, make some extended top hats, maybe buy a case of beer and some chickin to grill up n kill after i'm done installing the top hats and new shocks, then put the other two bills towards something else, like the b20v that i might start building once my single slam's running.... lol
but yeah progress looks good too. i kind of like the functionform v2's, but i think they're spendy

Re: If you had $600 to spend on suspension.
The F2 type 1's or 2's are great coilovers, especially if you wanna go low. But if I was going to spend almost $900 I'd rather go koni/GC with extended top hats. Progress coilovers are great as well for the price range they are in. But they also recommend that you do not go lower than 12in from the middle of the wheel to the fender. Which really wont cut it for the guys who want to go low. But if someone just wants a good coilover that is for Auto-X or just dailying it, they are amazing.

Re: If you had $600 to spend on suspension.
Just picked up progress coilovers from robear racing for $500.
If you add shipping, it comes out to be around $550, which is still cheaper than hondamarketplace price.
The shipping was quick and the items arrived in good condition.
I haven't installed yet (this weekend) but the quality of components look good so far..

Wow...really?
Says the guy who can't research and is a racist.
Anyways...to answer your question, I would also go with Progress since that is the suspension I have been looking at for about a year now. The other one I am considering is PIC, but a set from them is more than $600.

And I know what demographics are, hahaha.
And I have searched, nothing leads to positive useful facts. Just people saying "Mine rides good". Also, nothing shows a widespread opinion of differentiated ideals in the current market.
The fact that you feel I am a racist and also person that doesn't search, does not retract the opinion that I think someone else is smart? Hahaha
yumad
P.S thanks for your info.

Re: If you had $600 to spend on suspension.
I was recently searching for reviews on different brands of coilovers in general. What I've come up w/ is what most ppl here have been saying: FF are the way to go for a daily driver range of adjustability, ride comfort, price, and reputation. Although, I haven't heard any terrible reviews on Progress, except EXCESSIVELY stiff spring rates. Correct me if I'm wrong, but don't they make D2?
Anyway, just my $.02
Anyway, just my $.02

$600 to spend?
If the goal is improved handling, a set of Bridgestone Potenze RE-11 tires.
If the goal is lowered appearance, Koni STR.T shocks and Eibach Sportline or Koni Sport springs.

I sympathize with you dude, my budget is around the same. Currently, I'm running on a shock and spring setup.........but I'd like to go lower and without bottoming out.
After doing some searching these are some options in my price range:
F&F Type 1 - $630
Progress CSII promotion - $500
Blox - $589
Godspeed - $563
Blackworks - $650
but i'd really like a set of PIC apex.......but they run around $700
