Help with new suspension setup

Help with new suspension setup
I have a turbo d16 that I daily and it currently has blown stock struts and eBay coil overs that are pretty much worthless. I'm trying to find a setup that is no lower than what I have now so I can fit a 23" slick the few times I go to the track. Can someone please help me find what I'm looking for.

Re: Help with new suspension setup
Just remember that you have to have the right and/or "perfect" suspension setup to make the most out of your slicks.. $700 is a pretty small budget for that.

My car will prolly see the track like 1-2 times a year. Main reason I meantioned it was to describe the height I'm trying to achieve. Does anyone know if koni str.t and s.tech would work or what about h.tech?

S Techs would maybe be a bit lower than you have it now. H techs would be about your current height. You can google pics of civics with those springs.
Eibach pro kits are probably the best overall lowering spring out there.
Koni STRTs will handle any of those springs just fine.
They're all pretty soft. Great for the street.

Thanks for the help man. From the other pics I've saw so far it does look like the s techs are a little lower than what I have now. I just like a little less wheel gap. I hate crawling in and out of slammed cars lol

But keep the Koni yellow and ground control idea in the back of your mind.

I've been trying to do research on which setup I need but it seems most people only care about how low they can get their cars. Would you recommend eibach pro kit over something like koni Orange/Tein htech?

Re: Help with new suspension setup
I would buy those and combine them with Koni yellow or orange IF I were looking for a non-adjustable height.
Tein H techs arent bad, but the Eibachs have a really good combination of everything; comfort, handling, ride, and lowering. Plus the quality is great. In my experience, the only springs with a better coating are H&R.

The eibach pro kit I'm referring to just includes the lowering springs by themselves.
