I see a lot of threads about coilovers and its beyond me why people will consider generic ebay coilovers. If youre REALLY strapped for cash and dont want to spend the time saving money to put towards a quality coilover, just get some lowering springs.

Because they think one spring is pretty much the same as any other spring. Spring rates? What's that?

dont waste your money...they ultimately ruin every part to your suspension( ball joints, axles, shocks) and your alignment changes every bump you hit haha

So then what's everyone's opinion on Rokkor coilovers? They were a eBay kit that now have own website and ads in Honda tuning lol, any reviews for a 4th gen?

Rokkor = ****. What do you actually think you get for only $350?

Why anyone would buy Rokkors or Racelands, which anyone actually knowledgeable about suspensions will tell you are complete garbage, when you can buy Progress for a couple hundred dollars more...

Look at this way. The fact that GC's cost $300-350, and those racelands are $350 for shocks/and coilovers, should be telling you something.

The price by it sef screams Hi, my name is Raceland, I am garbage.

I remember the mentality when I started to mod the Civic. Ugh. I just didn't know any better. I understand that. On top of that the car had some rice sprinkled all over it. It still has a chrome Type R valve cover that I still haven't managed to swap out. You actually buy into all the marketing hype they feed you because you have nothing else to go on.
I. Didn't. Know. ****!
But that was before I got on this forum and read up and saw what people that had legit builds were using and I had my eyes opened. My advice to all you kids is to be patient, read up, buy correctly the first time and be the envy of all your hard parking friends.

Just wanted to clarify this. Camber doesn't eat at your tires as much as toe does. When you lower a car it throws off the toe. That'll eat the hell out of your tires. Just get an alignment. You do not need camber kits. The only car that may "need" a camber kit would be the 6th gen 96-00. Only in the rear because there's a steep camber curve. If a shop says they will not perform an alignment without you getting a camber kit, leave and go somewhere else.

Here, read this: https://honda-tech.com/forums/suspension-brakes-54/no-you-do-not-need-camber-kits-2614449/

GTFO. How many times do you have to hear "no eBay" before you believe it?
