I like by Carbotech Bobcats alot but I wouldn't call them inexpensive. I would stay away from PBR/Axxis Ultimates since they dust like crazy. I have the Hawk HPS pads on another car and I've been pretty happy with them. They do dust a bit but nothing like the Axxis pads I had.

What are your intended uses for your car?

You won't get the PBR/Hawk/Carbotech pads to operating temperature on a daily driver to reap their benefits. Basically, stick with OEM pads. If it's also seeing track time that's a different story.

what he said. Generally organic make less dust and metal stop quicker. There are exceptions, but brand and more $$ come into play.

Any autozone/pepboys/kragen pad will do the trick, they don't necissarily need to be the exact OEM pieces. These pads usually don't dust when used to get from point A to B around town. Just go to your local autoparts store and get whatever they got for your application, don't forget the grease.

If you needed an upgrade because you're experiencing brake fade from over heating the pads or you're heading out to the track, then the PBRs/Hawk/Carbotechs would've made sense. Since you're not doing any of that there really is no need to spend the extra cash for them, they'll just be dusting your wheels on a dialy basis.

I can get you PowerStop Evolutions for less than you will pay for a good set or duralast or other part store name brand. and they will perform better too.
