brake booster cant suck air
ben working on my crx and i have bled the system and mypedal feals realy spongy still and if i start the car it falls nearly to the floor. i replaced master but same problem i checked the brake booster and i cant suck air or blow it through the booster the check valve is ok. the reason i am bleeding is becouse preveous owner disatached the front brake lines from the calipers and just left em there should i just replace the booster? it dosent act like a classic booster fail but i cant push air in or out of it thanks

Re: brake booster cant suck air
The brake booster simply adds assist to the pedal. With the car off pump the pedal a few times, if it's squishy that has nothing to do with the booster. You have already tested the booster. With the engine off the pedal was spongy, with the engine on the pedal went to the floor. The booster is working.
Did you bench bleed the MC prior to installation? If not you can leave the MC on the car but you will need to bleed it.
Make sure the car is on a level surface. If you did not bench bleed the MC then you will be chasing after air bubbles for a long time.
Also make sure you've bled the brakes in the correct order. On FWD cars the system is diagonally split. You would bleed Right Rear; Left Front / Left Rear; Right Front.
