arospeed coilover sleeves???
im curious to know if there is really any difference in quality between arospeed, skunk2 or ground control coilover sleeves. i can get arospeed sleeves for $100, and i want coilovers. because im unsatisfied with my lowering springs, because of the ride height. so should i buy the Arospeeds or just wait a bit longer and buy either GCs or Skunk2s?thanks

Re: arospeed coilover sleeves??? (MilanoCivic97)
I've been on my arospeed coilovers for 7 years now. No sagging in the springs, none of the coils have broken off and my threaded sleeves havent cracked or anything. I have them on agx shocks and the ride is nice. 450 in the front and 350 in the back. People that have driven my car didn't believe me that I had arospeeds and when i had my car street tuned the tuner like the ride and asked what i had i told him and he said its a nice ride. But don't expect anything but Ground Control coilover suggestions here on honda tech. Any other kind of sleeve coilover assy is rice, garbage, and you'll get flamed for buying them. Ground Control is like 350 a set and like you said OP the arospeeds are like $100, so its up too you how much you wanna spend.

A buddy of mine had Arospeed coilover sleeves on his Civic for several years. The springs did not sag and the sleeves did not crack or flare. The spring rates weren't particularly bad either. They worked fine for his purposes.
If you pair them with a good set of dampers and run a reasonable ride height, they should work fine for you too.
You can't run them with Koni dampers though. That's the only reason I bought Ground Controls.
