I purchased a 1990 Honda Civic HB with 73k original miles. So far everything is running good except for the warning buzzer for the doors and seatbelt. I fixed the door buzzer by insulating the connections for the doors. Doors alarms will beep when any of the doors are open whether the key is in the ignition or not. Second problem is that if I don't wear the seatbelt right away it will start beeping that will never end even if I put the seatbelt on. I have to shutdown the engine to turn it off.

The beeping seatbelt light can be several things, one thing it is not is the L shaped switches on the door jam, so dont waste any time on them now. First, When you put the seatbelt on does the seatbelt light go off ? If not you have a problem in your buckles, or the harness under the seat is disconnected. If the light does go off then the problem is in your door latch, there is a switch on it that lets the car know when the door is closed.

If either one of these switches is not working you will get random seatbelt lights and beeping.

Next time it starts beeping pull in on the door while you are moving, if it stops the problem is your door latch switches.

Yes the seatbelt lights goes out if I put the belt on before it starts beeping. But if I start the car and warm it up and starts beeping and out on the seatbelt. The light on the dash will continue flashing and beeping.
