H2B Swap Help
Hey HT, im doing an H22 H2b swap in my EK and ive got a few questions
First off the EK previously had an obd2b d16y8 in it and i am using the engine harness from that on the H2b, the h22 im using is a 97 bb6 h22a4. I ordered the QSD H2b kit with the alternator relocation brackets. Im having a few issues with the wiring and it goes like this
These are the parts that came in the same bad for the Alternator Relocation Bracket. Ive figured out the placement on the block for the odd shaped piece with 6 holes but im wondering what the other skinny long piece is.
What is this?
What kind of Alternator is this? second link is an alternator bracket that fits the h22 but not the d16y8 alternator
Is there any way i can make my D16 harness work with this Dizzy?
The number of wires between the Distributors are different
h22 dizzy
Y8 Dizzy plug
This came with my s300, what is it?
Any help with any of these would be awesome!
Thank you HT

Re: H2B Swap Help
That is the spacer for the slave if you are using a hydraulic clutch. You need this because the H2B plate changes the way it lines up with the clutch fork.
Yes, anything is possible, But the best answer would be NO you cannot. You are running the S300, you will need an OBD1 H22 Dizzy. Either an internal or external coil will work fine.
