1996 Civic Overheating?
Cars Over Heating And No Hot Air In My Car. Anyways So I Didn't Have Anti-Freeze in my Engine. I Came Out One Morning and noticed everything frozen. I Checked my Radiator. What do ya know it was Froze.
So I Pushed my Civic Into My Garage. Thawed it all out. Put Some AntiFreeze In It. And Now when I Drive it, It's Overheating? I'm Not Sure Why. I Pulled My Thermostat And Tested it and it works fine. So I Did A Coolant Flush On My Radiator to Make sure that wasn't Clogged (The Radiator is Basically Brand New)
and I refilled it with Coolant. It's Still Over Heating And No Heat. Maybe My Water Pump? But I'm Not Leaking Any Coolant At All.
I Was Thinking Heater Core? Im Not Sure Though.
And I Checked my Dipstick To Make sure it wasn't a blown headgasket and its fine.
Any Ideas?

You can easily crack your block by allowing water to freeze in it... always run antifreeze...
Are you sure everything has thawed? Do you feel warm water in the supply and return heater core hoses? How about the top radiator hose, and the bottom one?
You may have ruined the impeller on the water pump if the water was frozen that low in the engine and you cranked it over. With the radiator cap off the radiator and the engine on, if you goose the throttle do you see the water drop a little or circulating?

I'm Sure its unthawed. And I Just turned it on and let it run for a min. I Checked the Heater Core Hoses and they were cold. I Goosed the throttle and Nothing happened to the water. It Sat Completely Still.
When I Checked it Yesterday. I Started it and let it warm up. I Felt All The hoses and only the top radiator hose was hot. Thats when I Checked the Thermostat. The Thermostat Works Fine. So Im Stumped. What is the Impeller?

Did you run it long enough to reach operating temp? Normally on startup the top hose will be warmer, bottom cold, until the thermostat opens. What was the temp of the car when you checked this? The thermostat has to be open for you to see the water pull down, and lower hose to start heating up...
Impellers are the fins on the water pump that circulate the water through the engine. You have to run the vehicle long enough to open the thermostat before checking... just leave the cap off the radiator and monitor the engine temp while you are doing this...

So I Ran It Long Enough For It To reach operating temp. The Top Hose was hot and again the bottom was cold, I Pulled on the throttle and the water level rose and came out of my radiator a little bit. Still No Hot Air in the cabin. It Doesn't Seem like the Water is Circulating though. The Temp Was About 3/4 Up. Could It Be A Blow Head Gasket?

Can the thermostat be put in backwards?
You said you tested it (assuming boiling pot of water) and it works. Reving engine pushed water out the rad so seems the pump is pumping.....

Either your thermo is in backwards or you may need a new one. Even if it worked, did it open slowly? As cheap as a new thermostat is, it cannot hurt to put a new one in...
