Bogging RPM Driving, Hesitation When Accelerating
Yesterday I posted about my 98 civic ex auto RPM bogging and staying close to 0 at idle or at a stop signs & hesitant to accelerate. I apologise if I seem redundant according to my post last night. I really need some response.
I'm faced with a rough (shaking) low idle at cold starts until the car is warm it smooths out,and rest at about 500,but that could be IACV replacement needed sinced I cleaned it and the TB still problem remains.
New problem is this:
Moving off a stop sign or giving it gas under 3k the car hesitates, rpm bogs then it catches and take off.Gear changed isn't delayed to my hearing.I have to slam on the gas though when it's hesitating to get it moving.
NO MIL/CEL AT ALL
I already poured Lucas Injector cleaner in the gas tank yesterday and drove it 8 miles so far. A friend of mine told me my O2 sensors might be dirty & I should run seafoam through my system. If that don't work I'll change the sensors. I'm most definitely not putting the SEAFOAM in my crankcase. Just the brake booster vac line, maybe not the gas since lucas is still in my tank.
Question is. My car last driven time was November 2010. Last tune up was 2008. Will the SEAFOAM help with the hestitation or do I need sensors?
*** My car only has 80083 miles on it.

last tune up in 08....that could explain a few thing start with a FULL tune up. you wasted money on that lucas injector cleaner stuff....should have just sea foamed it. do that then see i'm willing to bet bad cap+rotor

I'm not fully on the road yet. I'm trying to get emissions passed.
I'm unemployed atm and I have wait on my SSA to purchase things I need. I can do plugs tommorrow and cap/rotor like Friday. Fuel filter idk when.
