Default Loud screeching noise coming from Driver side. timing/other belt ?

I've got a 94 GSR and today I noticed that there was a horrid screeching niose. coming from the passernger side when the cars rpms are between 1-2.3k stationary or moving. my 99dx did this when i only had one bolt holding the ps pump. but that's what makes me think it's a belt of some sort alternator or timing belt ?. it stops when the car is warm most times

Ok, in that case, I would check your belts and make sure they're all tight.

I actually had the bottom bolt from my alternator COME OUT.

It sounds like one of your belts has either worn out, or you had a bolt come loose.

Dude...either power steering or altenator belt is loose. Loosen the tensioning bolt, move it back (snug) and tighten the bolt. 3 minutes of effort.

ps fluid could be low..... alt bearing could be aged. are possibilities.

(with car off) just pop your hood and wiggle the belts and see how must play is in them. you will notice the loose one

My ac idle pulley bearing is giving me a high pitch screeching lately. It is likely a pulley bearing going out.
