Icon2 Is a 97 Civic HX (EJ7) Coupe Worth Fixing Up??????

Hey i have a 97 2 door civic its a ej7.I sold my ej1 and picked the ej7 up.Im just wondering is it worth fixing up and making it a daily driver also is there a ej7 squad by any chance??????

96-00 civic coupe chassis are all the same....do you think there are any out there that are fixed up? Hmmmmm

Still dont even know your real question as you didnt really share any info on the car besides its a 97 hx....

Well the car front end needs painted and i kno thats not going to be cheap it have bbs rims and lowered on some unkown coilovers it look nice i just was wondering is it worth keeping and putting money into.......So are you saying its the same as a ek????

And also swaping out the stock motor and putting a k20 in it i just want your thoughts on it thats all

Coupes are not ek's and north america didnt get any ek's

I said...all 96-00 civic COUPES are the same chassis!

Very true...I was trying to keep it simple for the op lol. Didnt want to confuse him by spitting off all the differences (minus si) front end and climate control are the main ones.

You have a rare Civic HX, which is designed for high gas mileage.

Type the VIN into the VIN Decoder under Tech Tools to get more details about your car.

HX: Available as coupe only, this trim was specially tooled for higher fuel efficiency. It was the only model available with a CVT (continuously variable transmission), though customers could also choose a 5-speed manual transmission. It included all standard equipment from DX, plus a slightly higher horsepower VTEC-E engine, alloy wheels, power windows, power locks, power steering, and tachometer
