I actually made a typo, I ment to say B series but I don't think the OP understood regardless.

My bad for not proofreading my post. I fail.

But anyway, to clarify my earlier post for those that care, 350WHP all-motor is different than 350WHP boosted. A stock engine with a turbo kit can make upwards 400WHP but the same can't be said for a stock all-motor setup.

I'm not here to bash anyone's build, I just think for the money spent that boost is a better route.

When it's all said and done I think the HP per dollar spent is less with boost.

Nd all im building now is the head. Why dont u read. All the post. B18b1 head build

What does. Basic turbo cost u said its cheaper. Cluz its ganna be am ebay turbo

gonna run stock valves with stage 2 crower springs and retainers
with crower 403 all motor cams

im running the 403 crower cams with the crower dual valve springs stock valves rev up to 7500 all day with a good tune didnt make any power past it. my setup is a Ls stock pistons which was a cheap dumb idea. gsr tranny all boltons, injectors, fuel pump, s300 all the works. went to do a tune and came to findout the engine had seen its days and wasnt holding good numbers because of compression leaks. anyways, run your setup as long as its high compression and u will be happy with it. i still beat gsr and b16's all day with stock compression and leaking lol but then again maybe 95% of them cant drive because mine is baaaaaddddd lol

The weakness of a stock ls is the rod bolts... 7500+ you need to ARP rod bolts and you have to have the rods resized because the extra clamping pressure of the bolts causes the ros bore to warp.

I still don't know why this hasn't been moved to the all motor forum, because the op is not building a turbo motor.... he wants to bitch and moan about how he thinks a stock ls with cams will outrun any turbo ,motor.... which it won't
