1998 Civic LX 4dr, shutting off while driving??
so i own a 1998 civic 4dr lx and when being driving down highway or even city it just cuts off. i have to put it in Netural and turn the key off and try to turn it on sometimes it turns right away but i have pulled to the side before and keep trying to get it to crank up again. but when its on it runs fine no issues wats so ever and i do have a CE light on buts its the o2 sensor that the owner before used a universal one from autozone waiting to purchase one fom honda when inspection is due. any suggestions on why my car dies at points while driving?

I would check the CEL first. Another CEL could have triggered along with the one that was already stored. Are you getting any kind of bogging or sputtering when it dies? There are quite a few things that could be wrong here...

Have you checked to see if your car has been recalled for a faulty ignition switch? Enter your vin number here and give your Honda dealer a call and they should fix it free of charge.
