Ok first off this del sol is/was an si when I got it had a blown d16y7 with a vtec head. I bought another d16y7 without the vtec head on it and used the tube shaped intake that was on the old motor. Wiring harness is still the Si harness I just didn't have a plug for the Vtec connectors throws a code but runs fine.

My question is can I just buy another head and throw it on and have it work or is there any modifications to the block or head that need to be done to have it function properly?
