ok so today i noticed i can actual move my sway bar from left to right with my hand about a half inch each way.. and also are the endlinks suppose to be able to move there speracle but i can move them with my finger

D-bracket bushings too large most likely or installed incorrectly. Not taking your track record with incorrect installs into account I'm going to go with the first suggestion as I don't possibly see how you can mess one of these installs up. My bar and PWD:JDM spherical endlinks DO NOT move.

Endlinks are probually junk, and the Sway bar bushings are too big, or worn.


I can't move my bar at all, unless I really try and even then it hardly moves.

And it's been like this a whole year?
The endlinks NOR the bar should move if installed properly and in working condition. Possibly you aren't explaining the endlink situation correctly but the bar, as far as I know, should NOT be able to be easily moved side to side.

Spherical bearings will move like that, that is totaly fine. Mine did it when they were brand new.

The sway bar on the other hand should not move like that. It also appears that you have the endlink "spacers" on wrong. You want that fat spacer to be agasin't the sway, in your case. When doing this, you want the endlinks as close to 90* as you can get it.

All that is normal for a setup that is worn. If it is making noise and it bothers you, you can replace the d-bushings and endlinks. I replace my spherical bearing endlinks for stock 99-00 si endlinks. They have been noise free for about 4 years.

Those little rounded metal things on the endlinks. Switch them around. Fat side agasint the sway bar. That should help get the endlinks closer to 90*


the sway bar bushings are probually worn. Pull them off and take a look. has the bar always moved that much?

I should have worded it diferently, there's no "wrong" way to put them on. I said put the fat one on the sway bar side becuase it would push the endlink outward and get it close to 90*

No, as I said there is no wrong way. i have the fat spacer agasnt my LCA, between the the endlink and LCA. (at least I think I do. lol)

The way you had it on was correct. On those aftermarket LCAs you have to mount to the thicker washer to the outside. If you had OEM LCAs then the fat washer would be touching the LCA.

Does your sway bar have any collars next to the D-rings to keep the sway bar from sliding sideways? My sway bar didn't, so per a suggestion, I added shaft collars (aluminum ones from McMaster Carr) just to the outside of each D-ring to keep the sway bar from sliding sideways - pictures are below. My car is track only, so per a suggestion, I also switched to an Energy Suspension greasable sway bar bushing set (D-ring set) - they used to be really cheap on Amazon, but looks like they cost more now, so I could easily grease the bushings. Some sway bars come with welded on collars to keep the sway bar from shifting sideways, but if not, then some people weld on washers, but in my case, I just bolted on shaft collars. I would have liked to have the collars parallel to the D-rings, but there wasn't enough clearance to my sway bar (ITR?) to the ASR cross brace to the inside, and the sway bar curves just outside the D-rings, so the collars are at an angle to the D-brackets. - Jim

If you've had them on for a year and just noticed it then I wouldn't worry about it.
