Re: my boosted ef build
This is a sick build! I'm planning on going with the same teflon vitaras once I start building my DOHC ZC, any particular reason why you went with the rods you did? I'm planning on a 250hp daily, 350hp capable engine. What sort of numbers are you looking for on your low and high boost settings?

i used those rods because i'm building a stroker motor with the d17 crank/rods and k1 is one of the few companies that makes 1.7 rods. i'm hoping to make about the same power as you.

Give the man some credit. It has been less than 4 months and he has been doing incredible and extremely detailed thought out work...this type of quality isn't seen very often. But yeah! Where the hell are the updates!!?? hahaha.
Whenever I see this thread show up in my subscriptions with something new, I get excited. You're still going to use that mini 3 core radiator in there, right?

Re: my boosted ef build
had to burn up the lca bushings to get them out of the subframe
voila
did these a while back, but basically they are rebuilt axles with new oem joints on the outside and boots on the inside. i went with the 92-95 civic outer cv's which are a little bit larger and presumably stronger.

Honda CV's and axles are good for like 400hp before they will break... really. I am sure someone has broken some before, but you should have no issues. The Drag guys here at the local tuner shop run stock axles on all their drag cars and we are talking 9 second Honda's.
