Icon7 SpeedFactory 2011 D2B - Worlds Most Powerful D16!

For those that followed last years build, we were able to run a 9.65 @ 153.8mph before the block split in half horizontally right below the headstuds. That was on a sleeved block with 75.5mm Vitara pistons and stock valve size head.

We've made some pretty major changes to improve both power and reliability this year, with help from our sponsors. A huge thanks is owed to the following companies for helping out in a major way this year with the car.

Albins Performance Transmissions
Arias Pistons
Bisimoto Engineering
Competition Clutch
DG Machine
Golden Eagle MFG
NOS Energy

Our goal is to run low 9's at 160+mph this year, and keep the block from splitting again. That would be enough to make me happy!

2011 Build Specs:

Engine:
Golden Eagle sleeved & O-ringed Z6, ARP headstuds
76mm Custom Arias Pistons w/upgraded wrist pins, Eagle rods
Calico Coated pistons & ACL Race bearings

Ported Z6 head, 76mm chamber, Ferrea Comp Plus valves, +1mm in/ex
Bisimoto 3.6 cam & gear, Supertech valvetrain

ATI race damper

Drivetrain/Chassis:
Golden Eagle Scattershield, SpeedFactory Catch Pan
SpeedFactory D2B Race kit, Modified SCHA, Braced 3/4 shift fork
Albins B series 1-4 Dogbox
MFactory LSD, DSS level 3.9 axles
Competition Clutch D2B Twin Disc
Avid Racing solid billet tranny and rear mounts
Full-Race traction bar

Turbo setup:
Precision Turbo CEA 6765 divided 1.00 a/r T4, ball bearing
SpeedFactory frontmount divided T4 manifold, 4" DP
SpeedFactory custom valvecover & catchan setup
