this was a recall on the 01+ civics as well. the easiest way to diagnose this issue is check power at the headlights with a test light your going to have power on every pin which is bad once you see that go to the switch and find your burnt wire

Oh I know exactly where the failure is on the fit. I've done three of them and they all look exactly like the pics on the first page.

i was talking about any vehicle that does this and both headlamps do not work.

Hopefully the recall on the Fits works better than the one on the 01-03 Civics/Insights. My Insight was fixed under the recall and it failed again this weekend. I was informed that "since the recall was already performed on your car, you have to pay for it this time" even though it is the same problem. NICE.

I'll be pulling my column apart today and seeing if I can fix it myself with parts I have sitting around.
