DIY: S2000 CR Shift boot install
Step1: gently pull up on the center console, it is held in by 6 clips.
it will come loose with some pressure.
here are the first two clips/holes
Step2:next unplug the hazard and roof plugs
adjacent to them are 2 more of the clips/holes
Step3: removing the gray bezel that covers the shiftboot and roof toggle/hazard button
flip the piece over and notice the screws that hold on the shift boot from the bottom
remove them with a phillips head
Step4: once you pop open all the tabs on the bottom you will notice some resistance to pulling the bezel off. dont worry you wont break it
there is some plastic rings that are holding you back
after that TA-DA!
Step5:put the new boot back in. I happened to pick the 2008 CR shift boot
Step6: Push the console peice back on and snap all the clips into place and put your shift **** back on
and here are some nice OEM upgrades.
all pictures were taken with a Nikon D60 and no animals were harmed in this production.
