92 Accord EX Tranny Problems
I do not have an "S" light just a D4 light blinking. It blinks a code 7 and 8. I have replaced the VSS, both shift solenoids, and the TCU. What is the problem? It shifts fine if you shift it manually but when you have in D4 its just in third gear. BTW, does anyone know where to get the transmission codes for this car??
HELP !!!

Re: 92 Accord EX Tranny Problems
You need to get the codes first, also the tcu has to be the right one , different on ex than lx, one over looked thing ive seen in my 92 is the main fuel relay pig tail, some had bad solder joints, also the relay itself, this sends a voltage to the tcu , if its not there then the tcu fails.

bump the above Have seen main relay be the reason and also TCMs are different from year model/ trim level. I always try to match the P/N on the TCM.
