04 cbr 1000rr frame swap/ crashed>>>>>>>>rebuild
heres what it use to look like. enjoi!!
most recent before i crashed
heres how it stands now. dont look
both front and rear wheel damage
cracked head stem (where vin is)
broken kick stand
fork dust seal and both bent forks
damaged fairings
and the rest where thrown away. due to broken tabs and what not!
thankx for looking i keep you guys updated with the goodies i bought and the story of how i crashed!

so heres what im doing in general; really im just using all the good parts that i have and putting them on to a new frame.
here is a list of things that i already bought:
1. cbr 1000rr 2004 salvage frame.......................................$975
2. 2005 cbr 1000rr gas tank.............................................. $75
3. 2005 cbr 1000rr kick stand............................................$ 20
4. Front forks/ upper and lower triples with bearings etc.........$225
5. tools:154 piece craftsman tool box..................................$115
6. 2 peg spanners for motor/swing arm removal.....................$86+65
7. honda fireblade 04-07 repair guide manual........................$42.99
.................................................. ............total so far.......$1,604

Ah, only saw a couple pictures at first. Good luck on the rebuild and kudos to you for doing a lot of the work yourself.
Looking forward to the story; bike damage to that extent is usually associated with rider injury too

yeah!:hamm er: yeah the weather is weird here in Southern California it was humid at night so i thought id wear my vest. i learned my lesson this time if i ever get back on the road imma always and forever put on a leather jacket

Anywho....Did you pay off the bike? Or still making payments?
A buddy of mine did a similar stunt and ended up wrecking the bike.
Now he's making payments on a bike that he doesn't even ride...and had no insurance.

heres my left arm. you can kind of see it i used a lot of cocoa butter. FYI this happened like in September of 2008
heres my right arm. its look almost like the left one. and the gash on the elbow. i could of sworn i saw the bones on that one.

my vest took alot of sliding.

damn good luck with the rebuild.
i got the ducati frame for $300 looks like i got a sweet deal (thought i over paid!)
is that a plastic tank? if it's metal it looks like its still usable. needs paint/dent removal.

i also bought the right and left clip on with brake and clutch master cylinder for like.....i wanna say $100 or lil more. then i purchased new lever (sorry not the pazzo or the crg ones), they more like stock but painted from Luckybike.com. ummm i also bought a used front wheel for $115 shipped from ebay.
here my sneak peak at the fairings i have
it wasnt complete so i went on ahead to buy the front fairing for like $49 shipped on ebay not bad no cracks either
