Were you able to remove the shaft? I tried to place a piece of wood over the shaft tip and hammer it with a metal hammer, but no matter what it just wouldn't budge. I just gave up at that point and replaced all the easily accessible seals that I could get to. Anybody want to offer some tips?.
Had I seen IN-VTEC's final post before starting this job I would have opted for the rebuilt pump instead (which I may still do).
If anyone else was able to press the bearing out and has pics, please post!

That's not a thrust bearing though, is it? Because pressing a bearing out via the inner collar with as much force as it seemed to need, I would think would ruin the bearing.

I used a screwdriver through one of the pulley holes resting against something on the pump body, to hold the pulley still while I loosened the bolt. I only needed a medium socket wrench to do this ... not especially tight.

Just looked at Helms, and it does say the PS pulley nut is left-hand thread. So righty-loosey in this case.
*edit* the OP also says it's a left-hand thread lol

So you have to remove the bearing to get to the seal. Shouldn't you replace the bearing also?
