Default My LED Tails

Alright, here we go....mine in no way is as in depth as sean1121's, more of the everyday guys LED conversion (plus a little extra)

Trailer Light Kit: mine made by "optronics", model# TLL-9RK

The important thing is that it has both "tails" and side markers (red parts)

This is it w/ the guts torn out, and the little extra bonus 5-LED setup (3rd brakelight maybe?)

Brake/Tail square mounted in the stock housing w/ the sidemarker LED's mounted below for the signals (faced backwards to disperse)

Upclose of the signal

Then the "extra", my 22-LED running light setup (using the square for brake only)

Everything laid out

Running lights

Brakes (taken through rear trunk access)

Like I said, this could be a really simple project, to something as complex as the creation by sean1121. Enjoy, hit me w/ questions, I'll do what I can.

K

I'll try to get a couple of the signal and daytime....may be next week though...jettin' out of town for the weekend early this afternoon.

My only concern right now is that the "sliver" of parking lights won't be that bright, but I've always got the "trailer square" parking lights as a backup plan, but the brakes are like beacons, I'd say 50% brighter than stockers

Looks nice.

Are the LED's white or red? I might convert to LED's if they're brighter!

yeah, sean1121's are on there somewhere too:

UPDATE!!

OK, so I decided that I didnt like the way the turn signals looked...

So this was my solution, $6.00ea @ wallyworld:

Laying in the signal area:

Lens laid on top w/ LED's on:

Full cover laid on, turn only:

Brake/turn w/ full cover laid on:

Retro wiring: 3 for park/brake/ground, 2 for turn:

So much better than original turn, on right (now to redo it/finish park on 2nd):

stick around for more....soon....hopefully...

Not half bad. I made my own LED taillights for another car last year using 16 Luxeon 1 watt leds. It's pretty bright! Good luck on the rest of the project.
