Accord 2004 does not rev beyond 3000.

My accord 2004 would not rev beyond 5000 for a while. Then itdoes not rev beyond 3000 and now stalls when you want to drive.

Does it have any check engine lights? Sounds like its fail safe mode. Could be the transmission in limp mode, or VTEC solenoid bad. It could be a number of things. A check engine light code or transmission code would tell you a bit more.
