1998 Accord power window doesnt work
The passenger side window of my 1998 Accord coupe is not working. I thought it was the regulator or motor so I replaced those and to my dismay it still doesnt work. I checked all the fuses and relays and they are all good. The only thing I am thinking is it may be the switch. The drives side window works. How could I test the switch? If one switch is bad would it close the circuit and not allow the other to do its job?

it's probably the switch if you can't operate the passenger side with the driver's side switch either. I hate to hear you spent money on a regulator without testing the old one first.
any time there is a power window issue (only one window), always unplug the harness from the motor and test for battery voltage and ground at the connector with the switch closed (in both positions). If you have power and ground at the leads, then you have a bad motor, if not, you have a bad switch or circuit.

Re: 1998 Accord power window doesnt work
you would really need a switch terminal or harness connector diagram so you know which leads to test with the switch closed in both positions. you can check random pairs of terminals with the ohmeter, then see if the continuity through any of the pairs changes with the switch closed in either position to see if the switch is actually doing something. with a two terminal switch it's much simpler.
on the passenger's side, the harness connector that plugs into the switch may have at least one hot wire. I would check for that with a test light. If you have power to the switch, then it's most likely a bad switch. I'm not sure how your car is wired, but it's possible that the switch only provides a ground signal for a control module and there would not be a hot wire.
would be best to have a terminal diagram. haynes manual may have it, but most of the time haynes has dissapointed me. I would subscribe to Alldata and you should be set. if the info isn't there, email them and they will refund your fee if you sound unhappy enough. I just did this for a Volvo i was working on.

I had the same problem with my 92 accord. i replace the master switch on the driver side and fixed the problem. the passenger side switch worked but the driver side switch didn't work for the passenger window. i got a great deal for one on eBay!
