Anti-lock Brakes aren't workin?!
well i've been driving a while with them not workin but i can't remember when they went. I had a couple close calls recently . . . like really really close. . . like sliding 100ft goin 75 into a stopped car but i let go of the brakes and got traction and somehow manuevered around it. Anyways that was tooo close and im selling my car so i wanna get them fixed and if i don't sell it . . . well it'll be better off for me then.
Anyone know what i would need to do to get them fixed or what's wrong with them in the first place?? caliper, discs? computer??? i dono at all so pleeeeeaaase help me.
~Thx

The ABS system is not that complicated... do you currently have an ABS warning light on? If so the first stop should be the dealer, or other reputable shop capable of diagnosing this problem.

Your 97 SE doesn't have ABS. Unless you had the option of putting on the rear rotors then you have ABS. If you still have your owner's manual on page 149 under Anti-Lock Brakes.
"The U.S. EX, EX V-6 and Canadian Special Edition, EX-R, EX-R V-6 have an Anti-Lock Brake System (ABS) as standard equipment. It Is optional on some of the other models."
