Nice dude! Any pics of your set up? Put some ARP headstuds in there and turn that bitch up lol. I bet it feels good to have it tuned! I know I was super happy to finally get mine tuned.

That's a big turbo for such low power.

How far are you going to push it?

Yeah I'm waiting on a couple stuff then I'm heading back for a retune. I'm on. Stock map sensor too. Will be tuning on 110 and see how it goes

That's about the size of a GT3071R under 50lbs/min. Not large at all. he's at pretty low boost for a full LS. So he's about right. plenty more to go especially if he can get AFR down to about 11.8 or so (from 12.4) with a little more aggressive timing. Tuner seems very conservative.

i'm sure he can push about 15-17psi without ARP headstuds. I've done that before back in '02, with another person's LS...

He finally sold it HERE, back in 2006, full engine intact. Made 256whp/222ft/lbs on a bone stock LS, at about the same boost pressure, so its at least consistent...That was a FUN car, despite the questionable aesthetics

Phaphon ..Nicely done, good powerband use. nice and linear.

I wouldn't go that far to make that bold of a claim, but that is a very nice piece to use.

Nice. Need some cams that will make power at high rpm though to make better power.

lol yeah that would be like a 650-700hp vtec motor.

i saw one of my old friends cars at the track a few weekends ago. full weight teg, street tires and 12 psi ebay 50 trim went 13.4 @ 105. i think it could have gone 12s on slicks. its running my old head with bc stage 2 cams and blox im. im really believing some decent all motor cams is definitely the way to go with nonvtec. bc st2, crower 403, what were the crane st 2? 0018?

All motor cams seem to make rediculous power on nonvtec engines with some boost.

The ported head I have has jge303 cams and made somewhere around 457hp with a garret t3/t4 .57 trim with 24lbs of boost, or somewhere around there. Afaik the turbo was maxed out and more boost wasnt netting much more power.

Stock intake and tb too.

Holy **** my cams are even bigger than his. Mine are .417 lift, 274 duration in/ex

Yeah after seeing that, combined with my 10.7:1 compression, im gonna hit 400hp@8500rpm like its a walk in the park

Also, those cams should breath to a higher rev limit. Cam timing maybe?

Seriously? People have been doing this since these valve covers existed. here's a thread going all the way back to 2005, with shaved valve covers for every engine under a Honda emblem.

Interesting you should mention that. I just found some Crower stage 2 "all motor" cams locally for a steal. I've been told that I should get cams to reach my 400 WHP goal more easily, hopefully these are a good fit. LS, Wiseco 9.4:1, Eagle, 3071. I'm sure I'll need upgraded springs and retainers, but all in due time.

Bro I had the first 300whp civic in 08.

I never took the car out or to a track so that means I was the first to do it.

which crower? brian crower or his dad's crower? st2 or like 403? crower 402's are not stage 2's and i probably wouldnt bother with

id have already bought them lol

SI RICKO - its funny looking at that graph, its exactly the curve my b20 with bc stage 2 cams had. they came on like crazy a bit before 5000 (felt like vtec actually lol)
