Re: Bisimoto's 1004hp 2012 Civic Coupe
This thread is hilarious. Everyone is saying that Bisi's header is ****, but didn't TB go slower after switching the header?? Im an east coast guy so I only know about what the west coast guys are doing by what I read on here. I personally love my Bisi header. Maybe i got a "Tuesday" header lol, but we saw over 20whp gain over an aftermarket replica header.
I'm not defending the dude I can honestly care less. All I'm saying is, is that his header worked for us, and I'm 100% sure it has worked for other people. I guess the people that it worked for are too afraid to speak up.
PS i doubt that car even made 700whp lol

Alot of tracks require it... at least here in Texas they do. Anything 14 or under at my nearest 1/4 mile, and anything running 10's in the 1/8 at Kennedale... which is ridiculous because I'm pretty sure my buddys ford bronco will break 9's in an 1/8...

He did go slower, but he hasn't ran on a track with ideal conditions with the new setup/changes.
You can make more power and go slower, but once you dial the car in with the new found power you will go faster.
There are a lot more variables in drag racing then just power...

yea i understand that. But everyone is acting like bisi's header didn't help tb go 10.1. Obviously his header worked for him and it is working for us. I feel like every part has its limit. The same 62mm turbo that someone runs 10's won't net you an 8 sec pass. That doesnt mean the 62 is shitty or this or that, it just means that its reached its limit. I feel like thats whats going on with his header. Oh well. Im not a shop, nor am I a tuner. Im just defending a product that works FOR ME.

Bisismoto claims that their custom header will produce the most hp out of any other header and it was proving incorrect. I love how Bisi is trying to discredit a header that beat the **** out of his header because it hasnt run faster yet. If Bisi is a true racer he would know that with increase hp comes new car setup but he doesnt mention that.

you would have a point if bisi hadnt designed the header for that exact setup...its not like tb outgrew the header like you would the turbo in your example. theres a difference between outgrowing a header and the header not being ideal for what it was designed for.

and thats what i meant when i said i dont know whats going on, on the west coast. I was under the assumption that TB was using the same header that he ran 10.4xx or 10.5xx(i dont remember the exact time) in the crx. Rumor has it that he has a bigger motor now. So if he has a brand new header for the brand new set up, than Bisi's claims are false lol.
Does Myer Competition only make B-series headers??

bisi never claimed anything on that fastest stuff as soon as myers header beat it...notice he has dropped the fastest b series on off of his puppet's online...he knows the car will go faster on the new header just a matter of time

Any piece of steel that provides a pathway for expelled exhaust gasses to make their way outward from the exhaust ports and into the atmosphere is something you can consider a working part. We're not talking about a part that simply works. We're talking about a part that performs well in comparison to others. Bisi's header, in almost all 3rd party (non affiliated testing) does not perform well in comparison to others.
You say it works well for you. That's fine. But does it perform better than anything else with your combination? Have you tested anything else with your same set up to compare to the headers Bisi sells?

Re: Bisimoto's 1004hp 2012 Civic Coupe
i hear a bunch of lag and eventual wheel spin
since when do "race" tires need that kind of smoke to get sticky?
and yea...pretty much the only real drag cars in that video were the domestics. Mustang was nasty!
