Re: EP build help
Parts are coming in
Took some searching to find out what half-width radiator so I ordered a 2000 Civic 3 row aluminum radiator with cooling fan and shroud ---8lbs (5lbs for the radiator and 3lbs for the fan and shroud)
The head lights and adjuster got tossed so I ordered some head light covers
They were advertised as Carbon fiber but they turned out to be just plastic 1lb each

Re: EP build help
the front cross member that holds the stay rods and Trans mount 17 lbs.
The front radius rods weigh 5lbs so that’s 22lbs for the whole assembly
The new traction bar set up weighs 15lbs
I am not liking the new aluminum radiator set up, the total weight savings over stock is only 2lbs and I need to weld up new mounts

Re: EP build help
That’s true when you take into account the reduced amount of fluid the saving is greater

Re: EP build help
Change to the change
Summit Racing sent me an e-mail asking for a review of the Flex-a-lite rear hatch window (limited to 50 characters)
So I wrote one, today they sent me an E-mail saying my review did not meet there web site requirements.
That made me go Ballistic so I called them and told them I wanted to return the item since it wasn’t even 1/8 like they said.
This is what Summit sent me

Re: EP build help
Stock Hood 37 lbs.
Replacement from Deft racing 19lbs (it has no latch on the front of the hood but it looks like one can be added)

Re: EP build help
Why run GTL, You could run FP in road race and have plenty of folks to play with. GTL, will put you out there with some pretty fast Tube Chassis only type cars with more HP.
