Re: SYNCHROTECH *** DISCOUNTS & SPECIAL OFFERS ***
I commented on this thread about a week ago about sending in my two shaft to have them rebuilt (that is, whatever is needed).
I got my transmission taken out and disassembled yesterday, and was wondering if you could give me your initial impression on what would be needed before I send them out.
I was having some shifting issues, but it was mostly due to the clutch having a shard of metal floating around in the pressure plate area. My impression (I'm new to inner transmission work) is that my 1st gear syncrho is bad, possibly along with the hub or the gear itself (I don't have the shafts completely disassembled).
My 1st gear syncrho got messed up when I tried to do a quick downshift from 5 to 3, but went a little far and got 1st (without releasing the clutch, though). From that point on it would grind downshifting into first (and sometimes on quick upshifts to 2nd) until I changed the tranny fluid. But it never worked as smoothly after that.
Anyway, see the pictures and let me know. I only posted two, because the first synchro is the one I'm concerned about, and all the others look like the second one.

I need a bare countershaft (no gears installed) for an '97 Integra LS transaxle. Do you guys sell them by themselves? If so, how much shipped to 93309?

Re: SYNCHROTECH *** DISCOUNTS & SPECIAL OFFERS ***
We charge $400 labor + parts if you send in your transmission for a custom build and the build usually takes 2-3 days. The parts cost for a carbon rebuild kit is $299.95 and we can also add a LSD if you like for $684.95. We will give you a Honda-Tech 10% discount off the parts.
If you decide to have us to do your build: Our transmissions are completely remanufactured using our unique rebuilding process. Prior to assembly the parts have been cleaned, inspected, and polished in a deburring machine with ceramic media. Any worn parts have been replaced including Bearings, Seals, and Synchros. Preload, gear clearance, and torque have all been inspected and adjusted for superior performance.

Re: SYNCHROTECH *** DISCOUNTS & SPECIAL OFFERS ***
Hi! How much would a set of carbon synchros for a 86-89 Integra CG trans run me? And do the synchos come with new synchro springs or are those extra? Thanks!
