oczc for the win. That RHMT cover is the best cover in this whole thread.

86 Accord with 2nd generation Lude cover, with custom bolt cover, aluminum cap, custom wire loom and Accel wires. getting the cover over the bolts was harder then it looked. The valve cover studs had to be machined down, then drilled, tapped and the cover is now held down by button head screws.
original cover
the 98 Civic when we were doing the timing belt, duplicolor cast gray cover and timing belt cover, I sprayed the belt cover with krlon fusion first, best plastic primer you can use. dries in 20 minutes then paint your color
over it.

dual Hitachi Su's off of a jdm only 72 510 sss, made the manifold setup and everything on it, it's still in mockup, but moving closer to being finished every day. once it's done everything comes out and the engine bay gets cleaned and painted. the cover is a lude cover off of an a20 in it, on the accord a20, those aluminum lude covers are getting more and more rare. anyone else notice hoe cheap honda has gotten on it's valve covers? the old ones were heavy cast aluminum and works of art, new ones, they don't even remove the flashing. I was really disappointed in how cheap the one was on the D series, no wonder they crack so easy. I have some vintage Honda 4x4 covers hanging in the garage, I like them so much i'm going to polish them and hang them up in my car memorabelia. They sure don't make them like that any more

I should have added the cover was painted then baked, and the paint over the raised letters was sanded off. It looks much more complicated then it is, there are a lot of wires, simply due to the fact, I haven't loomed everything yet.
