My car is a 93 hatch full weight, actually heavier then OEM, the trans is a stock ITR , the motor is a GSR and my WHP is 510 and my tq is 325. My local track isnt known for killer traction for FWD guys and i am struggling to do better then a low 1.8 right now. I have tried boost by gear, i have tried different suspension settings, i have tried limiter straps and stiffer rear springs, no matter what i do i cant seem to get traction, my current slicks are MT 24.5x9x13 , when i first got them they did hit a mid 1.7 a few times but now they seem to stay in the 1.8s. i think i will get MH slicks this week and wonder if 25s would work better? I am on the revlimiter in 4th just before the traps now. i know people have done better then im able to on 24.5s but they arent at a mom and pop track like i race at where track prep is crap. also i heard the MT compound is picky to the heat where as the MH like to be fried and heated up. i know you all will ask so i will add in that i have also tried every PSI in the slicks and 6-7 cold seems best, 7k rpm 2 step also seems to give the best 60 ft. i was talking to a guy and he said i should try and lower the antilag settings down until i just haze first not fry it, but it seems that if i go lower i bog, its hard to find a middle setting that only hazes the slicks, i think i can clear the 25s since they really arent that much taller then 24.5s and i clear them pretty easily. any advice or tips would be great. i plan on ordering MH slicks monday i just need help deciding on the size.
so what is it guys 24.5 or 25?

From most racer's experience the MT 24.5 dont seem to work as well once it has ALOT of passes on them.
As far as the MH, I think either of the 24.5 or 25x8.7 will work for you. there's a guy here who has sshared his time slips and he's gettgin 1.6 60fts on the MH 25x8.7 Not sure what hp he's running, but it looks like he's having good results with his 25x8.7 setup.

i wouldnt say i have allot of passes , maybe 50 to 70 passes they def have seemed to get worse, but i also heard the MT are picky about burn out and temp where as the MH just like to be made hot. has any one here had problems fitting 25s with out having to cut at all?

I know a couple racers that buy the MT 24.5x9 from us that go through 10 sets a year.
