Cooling fan not turning on when engine gets to operating temp
Hi All,
noticed the temp guage getting about 3/4 the way up the other day. If i crank the heater it helps bring the temp down.
I turn on the AC and both fans will come on, when I shut it down the cooling fan will run for a while like it is supposed to.
So the cooling fan isn't turning on when it gets to operating temp.
I jumped the connector on the Thermo A switch and the fan turned on so I replaced the Thermo A switch but it didn't help.
Faulty new Thermo A switch perhaps?
thanks!

replacing thermostat next, upper hose is hot and lower is cold when it gets to operating temp.
Makes sense as to why the fan doesn't kick on because it doesn't detect the correct temp because the thermostat is stuck so it's still cool there.
