Valve Clearance/Adjustment Specs for ZEX 59300 in a D16Z6?
Pretty self explanatory.
I'd imagine you'd need to adjust the valves to different specs than stock when running the Zex "severe street" cam, yet they have no info about it on their site.
Any help?

There is a .pdf on the page about two posts down, but my restrictions here at work don't allow me to pull it up. Either that or the damn link doesn't work anymore.
Hope this helps.

I thought with that cam you needed to run their new valve springs and retainers. with the 59100 you could leave everything stock, and just re-adjust to stock valve clearence. not sure, I was looking into that cam for my y8

its advised to change them out, but if you really research its mainly if you plan on revving the **** outta your motor. If your gonna rev to 7k and no higher really, you will be fine with just the cam

Valvetrain isn't being done as the guy who owns the car isn't planning on revving over 7000rpm or so.
...unless it dynoes peak whp above that.

I have a friend who has the 59300 and he doesn't rev pass the rev limit nor does he uses the upgraded valve springs. Two years in the making and no issues. He adjusted it to what comp cams recommend which is IN .007/ EX .009 It sounds loud by that's expected from a performance cam.
