Re: CLEANEST DA ENGINE BAY W/ WIRE TUCKED REQUEST!! (sans)
Heres my f#*$ up lookin engine bay, what can I do to make it look better, besides painting the valve cover and probably ss header with out the heatshield. What do I do with the cluster of **** around the brake booster area? Oh and all the red hoses and coupling will have to go also!

you can ditch the ABS setup for pretty cheap usually I did my old one for about 80 bux including 3 stainless lines. also clean it and pick up a AEBS IM for it or S2 for a lil less power but cleaner look. also the coolant lines that run through the TB and IACV can all be deleted. Move the battery into the trunk. Pull the fenders and rerun the wires for the headlights ect. Also pull your mounts and have them repowdercoated black . Run your ground from the back of the valvecover along another line. Also ditch the oil cap for a stock one, put your wire cover back on an repaint your valvecover as stripping it will blead heat into the engine bay. also get some stock black spark plug wires.

what all is needed to delete ABS? I hate how it gets in the way of everything, just plain looks fugly!! Im guessing I need a proportioning valve and some more lines? Also, do I just remove that funky looking pump on the crossmember too?

there is some questionable info there but simply stating pipe length as a general for VE is falling into hype also some filters like mine come in a long neck version which actually makes considerably less turbulence at the TB than an any other intake pipe ect would given the 6in straight line.
