Just a thought: The vacuum line from the brake booster to the intake manifold on my accord was very loose at the booster... The original clamp didn't secure it very well. It's possible this vacuum...

I don't think he meant the hoses on the iacv might be loose, he meant the electrical connector on it may have jostled loose if it wasn't plugged in all the way. It should click shut, so just pull it...

Icon2 help deciding on maintenance for my '94 accord lx

So, this car (in sig line) has 178k miles on it, and the maintenance was done religiously until 100k. After that, my sister had the car and God knows what was done to it... The oil was like 1.5qts...

Replaced the distributor cap and rotor today. Checked spark plug wire resistance and they were all in spec so I'm leaving them be. Spark plugs were replaced when I did the lower tube seals last...

I just did this last weekend on a '94 accord lx 2.2L 5spd. It is super easy, but as others mentioned the sensor can be stuck in there pretty good. I used a little bit of PB blaster to free it up...

So last summer I decided to tinker a bit with my Accord and discovered the PCV valve was totally sludged up, so I replaced the valve/hose/grommet. Then I discovered tons of oil in the spark plug...

Temp is fine, it hasn't ever gone above the halfway mark on the gauge. Cooling system is full and bled of air bubbles
