Try flushing your radiator same thing happened on my si I changed thermostat and it overheated again ended up being a clogged radiator got a new one for 35$ so I just replaced it and it's fine now

99 B20b high comp swap car breaks up

My civic been breaking up like it's in 2 step people are telling me it can be my iac valve any info on this ? Any other suggestions did full tune up and changed distributor . Happens at any rpm 99...

I bought it like that , so. Ever really checked till now , I bleed the cooling system already but it still fades . Both hoses do stay warm though

Found my issue the ECT was fine , but the actual harness was rigged up wires cut up so I spent two hours heat shrinking and soldering took out the sensor cleaned it and it worked perfectly starts...

I noticed yesterday while changing my distrubutor O-Ring that my temperature sensor pigtail wires were hanging on by strands and down my harness (previous owners ) had spliced in the pigtail horribly...

Wait Never Mind , seems I'm being misunderstood lol , that rubber part that is shown in the picture , the one that covers the hole so you can't see your exhaust or shift linkage
