Re: How to tell if all cylinders firing

It's a 5 speed. It runs smooth but just has a lack of power compared to my old hatch. I'll have to go to a parts store when I get a chance. Thanks.

How to tell if all cylinders firing

I have a 95 civic dx d15b. Has 140k on the motor but it feels weak compared to my old hatch with 240k. I can go up hills and accelerate faster in my old hatch than the new one. Both motors are...

92-95 Civic hatch front, passenger side transmission mount/bolt

Does anyone know if this mount/bolt assembly is needed? It is the mount, bolt and bracket assembly that connects that subframe to the front of the transmission. You can access one of the bolts from...

Re: Just got an EG.. Flood damage? Mystery box?

Thanks for the replies. I think maybe you're right about it being an aftermarket cruise control. I found a bunch of wires going to the steering column, and a broken switch on the steering column,...

Re: Just got an EG.. Flood damage? Mystery box?

I can rub it off with my finger.. it's squishy like jelly... And yea, probably right. There's a hose that goes to the intake pipe and a wire that goes through the firewall. Maybe the 95's had more...

Bump on old thread....

I got the same problem. But my car is 21 years old, what kind of heater core should I replace it with? Anything from my era is sure to have or encounter the same problem.

Re: Broke Oil Pan Gasket Bolt

I found the part number for the bolt 90041-PA5-000. But how would I remove it? I'm thinking it's pretty much stuck in there with 20 years of use. I don't think it'll even drill out. Anyone...

Re: Broke Oil Pan Gasket Bolt

How do I remove the broken bolt? It appears to be a part of the engine block. I was screwing on the nut and it snapped the bolt off.

Re: Need Help Installing Oversized Oil Drain Plug

It's a single oversize m14 1.5 bolt. I think I'll just use Honda bond on my old bolt for now and order a new pan later.. hammer did not work... PITA....

So the previous owners of my Civic stripped the oil pan drain hole threads. I don't have time or money to buy a new oil pan, so I bought an oversized oil drain plug. The problem is, it won't catch...
