Not when you need a 30,000 pound press to separate cv axle joints, which was specifically what I was referring to, although shaft to transmission joints have been known to be ridiculously tight also....

Yep, mine was in DC a good bit of it's life. The ones that spent all their time here are complete rust buckets.

That explains a lot. Probably the same scenario in that area, hatch or trunk. Probably why sealing the trim seams right on that spot solved the problem.

Thanks for the reply and that's what I was thinking. Not surprising that this info isn't published. It would be nice if they had designed the t-stat/IACV/FITV and related hosing to be a bit more...

I'm surprised this info isn't published, since the standard code clearing procedure doesn't work. Seemed to have solved this problem by discharging the computer by connecting the computer supply...

Definitely worth looking into. Probably at least half of the wiring problems out there are due to non-factory wiring, or someone having their hands in there in the past.
