It'll be a long time away, but I'll definitely be posting when I do. Its just that I really need daily transportation. The most days in a row I'd have off is 4. Maybe, if I can get motivated, I can...

Yeah, this is exactly what mine did when I had the clogged cat.
The CEL wasn't on for mine either. It very well could be something else, but make sure to check this.

Re: Engine problems maybe?

Something like this could be a number of problems.
It could be a bad catalytic converter.
I had a 98 civic ex that had a bad cat. It made it slow. That's one possibility.

Re: No tail lights, running lights, dash lights, etc...

I replaced the fuse box and it works perfectly!

My window still doesn't work, but I'll look into that on my own.
Just thought I'd add closure to anyone who may have a similar project.
Months...

Re: No tail lights, running lights, dash lights, etc...

Alright, so I just rigged up a continuity tester by putting some spare wires in each spot and touching them to the fuse test light. There is continuity. So that means that my fuse box is bad?

Re: No tail lights, running lights, dash lights, etc...

I would, but its midnight and I can't really drive my car at night.
I also have a small fuse tester that works to test continuity of a wire, technically. Any way I can diy- it tonight?
Anyway, if...

Re: No tail lights, running lights, dash lights, etc...

I don't have a multimeter. Nobody I know has one I can borrow either. I have a 12v test light, is there any other way to test continuity?

I'm a complete newbie. How do I check those? put the light in the terminals of the harnesses? The only terminal that gave me a light were I and F. There aren't metal terminals or wires in slots J...

Re: No tail lights, running lights, dash lights, etc...

I just put in a new combination switch about a week ago to try to fix it. It changed nothing. And yeah, that's gone. But the terminals for 19 don't look as "healthy" as all the other ones.

Re: No tail lights, running lights, dash lights, etc...

Also, if it helps, I just remembered that the FIRST time I replaced fuse 19, trying to fix it, there wasn't a fuse there. There was a wire with fuse ends soldered on to it in fuse 19

Re: No tail lights, running lights, dash lights, etc...

-I thought they could be blowing immediately, but the fuses themselves are fine. I even put them in other spots to confirm this.

-voltage tested it, nothing. Moved the same fuse to another one,...

Re: No tail lights, running lights, dash lights, etc...

Fuse 19 is fine. It was one of the first things I checked, replaced, and continue to do daily.
Left bulb is fine, tested it in the right socket, so it the fuse for left low beam...

Re: any meets in Tracy, CA or in central Valley

I'm around the same area. You guys should hit me up if you know of any meets. I've got an EG8, just down to check out some cars and meet some people. My car isn't really anything to show off

Re: lowering springs

I had a 98 civic. I dropped it lower than 2 inches on coils and my tires never rubbed. I think you should be fine!

Re: DIY Ep3 side skirt retrofit onto EG

I think if you get some mudflaps to hide the ends, it would look a little better. It looks good, but I just don't like the ends. You can see it propped up over the old ones.

Re: First Honda! 95 Del Sol S "the salty peanut"

I'm glad to see someone put so much effort in a car that looked as if it had no hope.

Re: 92 Civic Fuse problems?

Update + bump.
Still no voltmeter.
But today I was fiddling with the fuses and found 3 blown ones I must have missed. I replaced them but it seems the tail lights, running lights, and dash lights...
