Re: 94 Honda accord water problem

I have the same problem with the top left part of the windshield. My sunroof drains aren't clogged.

Re: Substitute for Hondabond?

I used the Permatex grey instead of Hondabond for the valve cover gasket without issues.

Re: Proportioning Valve Leaking

Thanks, I was hoping you found it cheaper. It is awfully overpriced.

Re: Proportioning Valve Leaking

That proportioning valve plastic plug is a time bomb, mine was also missing when I bough my brakeless (at the time) Accord.
And what a PITA to work on it, particularly re-attaching the brake lines...

Re: 97 Accord F22B2 coolant temp gauge question

Just an update:
As I hoped my CEL P0420 hasn't come back since I replaced the 180F thermostat with the correct 195F one. It's been about 1000 miles since the replacement. MPG is about the same. The...

Re: Tire size for 97 accord SE

The factory alloys on the 97 SE come with 185/65 R15 tires. Wouldn't 205mm tires be too wide for those wheels?

Re: Seafoam, now no spark. I am going to cry.

Kinda off-topic: When I seafoamed my old Camry through the brake booster vacuum line, I had trouble getting it stop (as far as I've read you were supposed to stop the engine after the engine sucked...

Re: Engine Vibration withing specific RPM range

If it doesn't vibrate in neutral then it's not an engine vibration related to the harmonic balancer... Does it vibrate in all gears?

Re: 97 Accord F22B2 coolant temp gauge question

Thanks guys!
@motegicivic - It sits right in the middle between the lower and the middle mark- 25% if you don't count what's bellow the lower mark.

I've only seen it get above that once for a...

Re: excessive brake pedal play

V-8 who, pedal play is that wiggle room before the master cylinder is actuated and it can be adjusted.
I'm guessing you are talking about a soft pedal. I would suggest replacing the master cylinder...

For my Accord SE the temp gauge sits halfway between the middle line and the lower line (the one above the cold blue...

Re: Coolant loss

Does it smell like coolant in the engine bay or in the cabin, when running or afterwards?
If not it might be the head gasket.

Re: 97 Accord SE proper bleed order?

Thanks guys, you are right.
I looked and there are 2 manifolds after the MC, the top one with FL and probably RR and the lower one with FR and probably RL.
Or it might be a double body manifold I'm...

97 Accord SE proper bleed order?

Hello every one, I just bought a 97 Accord SE sedan.
I'm trying to fix the brakes for now, but I'm confused about the proper bleeding sequence.
The 94 manual says RR, FL, RL, FR. This seems weird,...
