Re: Key Wont Turn

I had my ignition switch freeze up, probably similar to your situation. I pulled the ignition switch out and took it to a locksmith. It was in bad shape but they managed to get it working, at first...

Re: Rotor over hub question

I managed to get the axle nut off with a 2' breaker bar and a long bar wedged between the lug nut bolts and the ground. Off course, I had to put it back on once I realized that I was going to...

Re: Rotor over hub question

Thanks Tim, I can hardly wait, these hub/ bearings have been exposed to the elements for an unknown time and look very rusty, albeit surface rust. Luckily I have access to a shop where I take my Land...

Re: Rotor over hub question

Thanks Michael, your undoubtedly right about the bearing, I saw the Acura they came off of, looks like they were sitting for awhile, unknown mileage.
Happy 4th!

Re: Brake Problem

I thought you were suppose to compress the piston, not sure how you would screw the piston back in. Can't offer much help on the sponginess, buzzing may be the ABS (if it has ABS).

Rotor over hub question

I've gone through the FAQ, but just have a couple of quick questions.
Here's what's happened so far, I attempted to replace the rotors on my 1997 Honda Accord Ex-R. Needless to say, not a convenient...

Re: Help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I guess like nuss said, buy a whole new cluster or take apart your old one and see why it's sticking... the latter would be much cheaper. Not sure anyone is going to sell "just the part"

Re: Who thinks I should replace A/C receiver-drier during this procedure?

Yup, I was surprised by the price as well, much cheaper for a Honda, but there are a lot more of 'em on the road. Good luck! Hopefully you'll post great results.

Re: Who thinks I should replace A/C receiver-drier during this procedure?

I have been told to replace the drier anytime the system is evacuated, this was from an AC tech. Not sure how much they are for a Honda, but for my Land Cruiser it was around $40. Pretty much the...

Re: The Infamous Car Jerking at Cruise Speed...

I had a similar problem, as per the advice above I cleaned the EGR chamber and cured the bucking/ hesitation problem. I have a thread if you search my user name.

Re: F22B1 Hesitating/ Bucking

So I've ordered all the required gaskets from Majestic to tackle the EGR port cleaning, dang that EGR gasket (the one on the manifold) is expensive... OK it's like $22, but still, for a gasket. Won't...

Re: 1993 Accord EX Sedan 4D Shakes Horribly; Fourth Cylinder Not Firing

Which motor is it? If it's an F22B1 it could be EGR related.

Re: F22B1 Hesitating/ Bucking

Quick follow up.
Haven't had much of a chance to work on this issue, but yesterday I yanked the EGR valve off. The gasket was in poor shape and the ports were quite dirty, I didn't have any...

Re: Im stumped and need fresh ideas.

My F22B1 is in the same predicament, I have other issues as well but I doubt they are related to oil loss. I'd say I'm going through a quart every 500 miles. Like you, no real leaks, I replaced valve...

Re: F22B1 Hesitating/ Bucking

Thanks for the responses guys
Port cleaning it will be. I'll need to get a gasket prior to dissection, I'll shoot a few pictures as well.
Do you think I'll need o-rings/ seals for the injectors?...

Re: F22B1 Hesitating/ Bucking

Where is the AICV? The FSM shows it in a pic, but it's difficult to identify. Maybe I'll snap a couple of photo's from under the bonnet and see if I can point it out.
