Re: Can anyone ID these wheels?

Sweet, thanks.

Being worth so little I'll likely keep them, try to clean them up and roll them on my ride. The tires are shot, so I doubt I could get anything out of them.

Can anyone ID these wheels?

I've got a set of what looks to be 16x7 wheels, in 4x100 and 4x114 pattern. They need a lot of TLC but could make some decent wheels, just wanting to know if I'd be wasting money cleaning them up for...

Re: 1988-1991 Civic/CRX budget front hub 4x114.3 conversion [DIY]

Charlie, I agree with all of your pros and cons, it's not something I'd recommend for everyone either, I just wanted to try it and see how it worked. It turned out alright for what I'm doing and I...

Re: 1988-1991 Civic/CRX budget front hub 4x114.3 conversion [DIY]

The bushing does bend but it has been holding up fine, the amount of flex in the bushing is negligible in the end. Knuckle is identical in height and placement of the ball joints, the camber should...

1988-1991 Civic/CRX budget front hub 4x114.3 conversion [DIY]

Hey guys, my hatch is coming along and I decided that I would love to use tougher Accord axles than the skinnier Integra axles in my car. I decided the best way is to just go ahead and convert to...

Re: Is it possible to put a clutch on backwards?

A clutch disc can be put in backwards, and it will cause the clutch to never disengage due to contacting the crankshaft-to-flywheel bolts and pushing the disc against the pressure plate.

Pull your...

H/F into 1988-1991 Civic/CRX: How to use stock EF Speedometer

So you want to do an H or F series swap into your fourth generation Civic (or CRX)? That's cool, whatever floats your boat. There's a common problem when doing this, though.

Here's an F22A1 tranny...

Re: 13" VX Wheel's Vs 14" HX Wheel's

I put EX big brakes off of a '94 (94-95 Civic EX had larger brake rotors and calipers than 92-93 EX and the LX/DX/etc.) onto my '90 hatch and can no longer fit my beloved VX wheels on it, had to hunt...

Re: obd1 dizzy with obd0 ecu

I'd like if this was formatted a bit better, it's some good info for a broke kid who needs a dizzy quick fast and in a hurry, and can't afford a conversion harness or OBD1 ECU.

Re: 5w-30 in trans instead of 10w-30??? i work in an hour please help

I've run nothing but wal-mart 5w30 in my HF tranny that I put in my hatch two years ago. I've never had a grind or problem in any way out of it. I've run 5w30 in every D and B tranny I've had and...

Re: wrenching your ef

Took my ol' beat up hatch out of retirement over the weekend, it's been sitting ever since I got my Celica A60 so I have been tinkering with it. The rear and driver's side motor mount are so worn...

Re: wrenching your ef

If it was super cheap. They usually only go for ~$50 here, I don't know if you'd be able to snag a head and ship it to me for that.

Re: obd0 cel 43 code b18a1

I never post incorrect information, I simply didn't know there was a code 43 on OBD0, had never seen it nor heard about it before. I did some searching and most people rule it out to be the FPR...

Re: wrenching your ef

Sorry for the late reply, computer has been apart for a few days

That's an old Z6 manifold painted with VHT black.

It's on the CRX right now, but the CRX is either going to be parted...

Re: CRX Burning Oil?

Yeah, O-ring is a terrible leak. Replaced it on my 230k D16A6 that I've only put a head gasket on, and I thought it was burning tons of oil because it smoked and I had to put a quart in a week (and I...

Re: From ZC to K20a

+1

ZCs are cheap... There's a ZC on my local CL for $400 w/tranny.

No way a K20 will cost less than that and be in any good-to-run condition.
