Have a 99 auto ex coupe with 179k on the body and a fairly new rebuilt trans and unfortunately the motor is gone, dont feel like doing any more work on it. Body and interior is in good shape as well...

I popped the distributor cap off and it will barely budge if i try and start it. isnt that a clear sign it slipped off? Trans threw no lights so i doubt its bad and yes the oil is fine.

?? They come pre gapped. Also its funny you mention that because for some reason oil started coming in through the hose that goes from the intake to the valve cover. Why does this happen? To much oil?

It shifts hard in all drive gears? Or when you select a gear? You could clean the solenoids. Mine did the same thing before it went completely, only took a few days.

Put the starter in and boom the freakin car wont stay on. In fact it will jerk and misfire like hell until it just stalls..

You mean actually take the solenoid out and clean it right? Not the connector. What are you cleaning them off with. Also when testing for continuity what should they read?

D4 Light Flashing in 99 Accord- P0758

I just put in my new trans and besides a bad leak at the passenger side axle shaft the trans is throwing the code P0758 which seems to be a solenoid.

It also set off D4 to flashing. Car drives...
