I've got a similar buzzing going on in my 1991 Si Hatch . . . its coming from a spot higher than the fuze box but not necessarily from the cluster . . . it almost sounds like its coming from the back...

I think the wire is too tight...its breaking the plastic receiving plug part clean off from the "bolt" part of the sensor.

Before I go try this, is the knock sensor even something I need to worry about for running VTEC?

I have a d16y8 out of a 97 Del Sol (these y8s ran on an OBD2 p28 -- check for yourself on here if...

I attempted this and the cone shaped part is completely seized on my car. I hit it w some wd40 and used a leveraged flat head and still I can't get it to turn either way...The cone even got a little...

Sorry if this is too off-topic, but instead of trying another civic dash I just ended up dropping in a 94 integra console this week. It was a super quick and easy install -- just one hole to drill...

I like the CRX front end on an EF Hatch. It looks mean with the longer bumper lenses and that big lip. Good luck getting her running again -- good stuff.
