What r u planning to do for paint? I just did Maaco's second option (not the entry level) for a change from red with black and grey faded side moldings to all black 3 months ago. Its already starting to chip off in spots -- not to mention I'm in a pretty mild climate (southeast coast). I always heard it, but now -- I know it -- be picky on paint if you're wanting to keep the car for a long time.

I'm sure you know the cheap Ebay short shifters are notorious for breaking off at the ball. Mine has'nt yet (fingers crossed) but its not even worth the anxiety. I have a buddy who's brother broke his right off while driving his ef...not cool.

paint is gonna be original tahitian green pearl. and i live in alabama so the climate is fine paint wont go bad for a long time on top of that i have a friend who paints and does body work for a living and hes gonna paint everything for the low sum of around 200$ so im good on paint and for shifter i have a ebay bride? or whatever that fine because i have like 10 oem shifters from past cars.

Aren't a lot of EF parts getting hard to come by these days? I ask because someone I know is having a hard time finding a front bumper for his EF/CRX build.
BTW I like the idea of painting your car the TGP.

3rd gen as in Del Sol? I've always been a fan of the 88-92 CRX and with what we are offered today in turbos, tuning, K swaps, etc., the capabilities are endless! But I don't need another $$ pit, my ITR is quite enough lol.

A rust free hatch for $500 bucks? In my area that would sell for triple that, good buy man.

As a fan of teal EF hatches I approve of this build Keep up the work man, long ways to go!

Yup kinda a long way but i might end up selling it because its my first ef and i am completely lost with this thing. all my friends have been sayin if i want an ef sell this one and the swap with everything else i put into it and buy a different one. which i just might do. i dont know though im thinking about it.

as far as that motor goes its a mini me the old d16a6 motor ran on the pm6 ecu but since a vtec head was put on it for vtec you now need to use the p28 ecu since its obd1 heres a tip on wiring obd1 plugs on a honda motor or wire harness are grey obd0 plugs like on all stock 88-91 efs and some integras are kind of a nasty yellow and semiclear also did the friend you bought that car from do wiring on it has it already been mpfi wired???
