What I did was clean the surrounding area and cover it with clear tape so the metal shaving don't get in the head.
Most times using the reverse drill bit will bring it right out.

They actually are for a secondary Fuel Rail because they used the manifold in/for there CA Legal Turbo kit running stock injectors as primary and the secondary for when boost kicks in.

I'm just using NPR P73-A0 Pistons and LS Rods w/ ARP Bolts.

Header I would go with a PLM Toda Rep.
CAT would be some kind of 2.5" (I've found this to be a big contributor towards RASP, removing it gets you the most rasp possible)

You can reduce the harshness/lock percentage by playing with the clutch/plate order.
I normally set my Diffs at ~60% Lock.

If you search around a little you can find PX Manifolds new for $280 and even 68mm TB for $80-90. Both Shipped. 68mm is a little on the big side for a 1.8 but like mentioned before I can't see it...

Depends on the Sidewall and/or Tire Design.
You may be able to shove a 225 on there.
Of course it'll be bulging but they will be on there.
I believe Miata guys do it all the time in Stock Class...
