not exactly true. the d15b vtec has the same head as the d16z6. so you would treat is as a d16z6 not as the usual d15

z6 belt will be a little lose but its the closest one without being oober...

if im not mistaken
the d15b has larger rod jounals so it may use the d16 rods (i think they are the exact same as the z6 just different numbers)

the d15b1-b7 has 134mm rods where the d15b has the...

i know its an old post but my 95 z6 just sent a rod through the block ( i may have helped it along by taking it to 5k when i heard the knock) :D

im looking for a cheap motor that will get my car...

i can easily get a dyno sheet online or just put a b16 on a dyno and say hey look at my d16 all motor :D

i think the y8 pistons are close to being the same as the z6's. you may get a .5 compression bump. but they will fit on the z6 rods with no problem.

anyone can make 200whp with any dohc, so why cant anyone seem to make the same power in a sohc? surely a bigger cam? no thats...
