radiator cap is new.
radiator- when i squeeze the bottom hose the liquid in the radiator purges out of the filler hole (and the rad looks new) so i dont think its that.

Hi guys
I recently purchased a 1999 honda civic.
was running fine..till yesterday..
i noticed the car would start to overheat a little.
so i touched the bottom hose and it was relatively cold...

yep the temp control was not working -
i pulled the cable manually and shut the valve on the engine side of the fire wall and the ac blows cold now.

My ac is blowing warm in the teggy.
I had a leak in one of my o rings which i replaced and recharged the system.
It took one 14oz can and read 40psi from that one can?

i noticed the oil check stick is very loose when i fit it back in.
could this be causing the problem?
i mean is the transmission pressurized like a radiator ? ...

i noticed there are 4 sensors on the tranny 2 on top and 2 underneath near the drains plug. The 2 underneath ones have wires taped and joined, looked to be a little...

I actually topped it off with about a cup full of lucas stop slip addative yesterday. She started up and drove like new for 20 minutes. My neighbour owned the car before me. he said the car developed...

i actually topped off the tranny this morning with atf and drove it from cold and it was fine for about 20 minutes... then it went back to the same old...

hi everyone

just developed a problem with my transmission having this horrible vibration when i take off. it vebrates badly and shakes the whole car, then as she gets a bit of speed up she evens...
